I was thrown into the world of cooking when I gave birth to my gorgeous son who couldn't tolerate most additives and since I wanted the best for him I had to learn to cook, from scratch, and fast. Since then I have grown to love that previously neglected space in my home called a kitchen. Now we've all tried recipes that end in disaster which is costly, time-consuming and downright depressing, my recipes work, they've been tried, tested, edited and are now firm favourites of my family and friends, plus they're delicious. My blog is written from my heart and mind so alongside the recipes you'll find my views on the world with a touch of humour thrown in for good measure.
