Located in South Plainfield, New Jersey, Pfingst & Company was founded in 1905 by Adolph Pfingst. Originally established to service the growing requirement for dental burs in North America, the company currently imports and distributes carbide burs, steel burs, and abrasives, as well as diamond instruments, silicone polishers, and rotary tools that are used by jewelers, dentists, artists, wood carvers, and craftsmen. In particular, Pfingst features products from European manufacturers Busch, Horico, and Edenta as well as their own brand of flexible shaft machines. Pfingst distributes its line of products through dealers in the United States, Canada, and many overseas countries.
