Olympic Games - the largest international multi-sport event today, which are held every four years. Tradition, which existed in ancient Greece, at the end of XIX century, was revived by French philanthropist Pierre de Coubertin. Olympic Games, also known as the Summer Olympics, held every four years since 1896, except for years, came to the world wars. In 1924 established Olympic Winter Games, which were originally performed in the same year as the Summer Olympic Games.
