Kernodle Clinic is a large group practice with three locations in Elon, Burlington, and Mebane. Between the three of them, they have 50 providers and are specialized in 18 different medical areas. In addition, Kernodle Clinic also provides a walk-in clinic servicing patients without appointments and after-hours. A few of the specialties they provide are: cardiology, endocrinology, podiatry, and neurology. The practice was first started in 1949 by three Duke University graduates. Their education is a testament to the quality of medical care they provide, and to this day, that quality has been upheld. It is also known as one of the most technologically advanced clinics in the south.
