Manomics is a blog created and maintained to cater to lifestyle issues pertinent to men. Various topics are covered, such as grooming, health and fitness, as well as things that all men should know (such as how to tie a tie or how to change a car's tyre!). While a lot of men’s lifestyle blogs are created and maintained by large faceless corporations, Manomics was created and is actively maintained by one man – Andries. Andries realized that there is a need for a men’s lifestyle blog that adds some personality and caters to unique needs of men, rather than just drone on and on about a $10 000 Rolex watch that most men cannot afford and probably would not want anyway. Rather, Manomics focusses on realistic topics that men are interested, such as how to use a straight razor properly and safely.
