MusiClubz feels strongly that learning a musical instrument should be available to all, regardless of age, gender, culture etc. We developed our system after intensive discussions with professionals in the care and education sector. Guitars and other instruments provided by us are fitted with this system of shapes and colours to help children identify notes easily without the need to refer to standard notation. We teach using adapted modern songs and tunes and for early years use 'easy chords' on stringed instruments which utilise only two or three strings. Children should receive positive reinforcement at all times and to this end we award stickers, (which all kids love!) for effort, behaviour and for extreme effort the coveted teachers special sticker! Our lessons are geared to our own levels system and children are awarded certificates at each level achieved. This is normally when an assembly performance is arranged for parents to appreciate all their hard work.
