The University of Southampton offers psychology degrees including a single, highly focused, BSc Psychology degree. This degree is noted by the (BPS) British Psychological Society. Psychology's broad-based BSc degrees give you the opportunity to study a wide range of topics before specialising in your chosen area. As well as summer placements, we offer hands-on research experience through our Voluntary Research Assistant (VRA) scheme. Psychology is referred to as the scientific study of behaviour in humans and mental functioning. At undergraduate level, you are provided with the chance to study a broad range of topics within psychology. Some of these topics include the visual system, close relationships, memory and the development of children.
