The Ellis Antiques Show ran for 49 years in Boston before closing its doors in 2009. The Boston Antiques Show ran for 21 years, before closing its doors in 2001 in the aftermath of 9/11. Now, co-producers Tony Fusco and Robert Four do honor to both historical shows by launching The Ellis Boston Antiques Show October 20-23, 2011 at The Cyclorama, Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont Street in Boston's South End. The show will feature 40 American and European exhibitors of the highest quality, drawn from both past Ellis and Boston Antiques Show exhibitors.
The weekend show is Friday, October 21, 1pm - 9pm, Saturday October 22, 11am - 8pm, and Sunday, October 23, 11am - 5pm. Admission is $15 at the door, with
children under 12 free. Admission includes the show catalog, all special programs, and re-admission throughout the weekend. Friday evening from 6pm to 9pm will be "New Collectors' Night", featuring a series of programs designed to introduce new collectors to the world of antiques.
