This site is for teachers who are teaching English as a Second Language (or English as a Foreign Language). It looks at ESL theories and issues through the experiences of teachers and gives practical advice on how to help teachers with the personal development required to succeed in this field. This site is authored by Glenn Wickins who has been teaching and managing teachers in Japan and Thailand for the last 9 nine years. He is currently working towards a PGDipSLT and this site is his sounding board for how to apply the theory he studies to the practice of teaching.
