Application for membership of the association is open to all personnel and their families. It exists to imbue the family tradition of the Regiment and to render support as best it can. It is dedicated to those 'SIGINTERS'and those in the vital realm of administrative support of the operation throughout the period of the Cold war and beyond. The association also holds an annual reunion in Torquay. Application to attend can be made via the Birgelen web site. It has an interesting historical photographic section devoted to the period in question and pictures of the various types of communications equipment used at the time.
