Urunji Child-Care Trust is a registered Non-Governmental Organization in Malawi supporting orphans and vulnerable children. Our programmes include malaria prevention, environmental recovery, child sponsorship, HIV and AIDS prevention, water, sanitation and health. Urunji Child-Care Trust partners with other organizations in Malawi and overseas to execute these programmes that aim at sustainable development from the grassroots level. Urunji Child-Care Trust is not an orphanage but supports children from the community. We are currently supporting over 2600 children from their communities. As of April 2013, Urunji Child-Care Trust has registered over 3000 children to benefit from free insecticide treated mosquito nets that will help them avoid malaria.
