Tiger Eyes is the first feature film adaptation of best selling author Judy Blume's novel. The novel was published in 1981 and is the first of her books for the young adult audience to be brought to the big screen. The story is about Davey, a 17 year-old girl suddenly relocated by her grieving mother from their hometown of Atlantic City, NJ to Los Alamos, New Mexico in order to recover from the sudden and violent death of her father. Everything that once mattered in her young life seems pointless and uninteresting. When she meets Wolf, a mysterious young man, while exploring the canyons, he too is suffering through his own tragedy. Their connection allows Davey to see her life as an adventure with both heartbreak and joy. The film stars Willa Holland, Amy Jo Johnson, Tatanka Means and Cynthia Stevenson. The film is now available on digital streaming services and cable VOD.
