The VoiParrot is a VOIP (Voice Over IP) recorder which will archive telephone conversations so they can later be retrieved for listening. While a call is being initiated the Caller ID (Number or name) can be displayed in a bubble associated with VoiParrot`s tray icon. The ability to specify which calls are to be recorded unattended is available to you by adding phone numbers to a list. If you wish to record all or no phone numbers then selecting the appropriate checkbox is also available. The Time, Date, Duration, Originators phone number, and recipients phone number for each recording is displayed. A note/reminder can be typed in and associated and archived with each call (Refer below for the expanded view of VoiParrot). While playing back a phone conversation you are allowed to make annotated bookmarks and, of course, these are available not only as reference but to quickly playback those tagged portions of the conversation. During playback you have the typical virtual recorder controls available: play, pause, rewind, goto to end, goto to beginning, etc. While a call is being recorded you have the ability to listen-in to the conversation via the computers speaker. The VoiParrot has been designed to simultaneously playback one recording and record up to 10 phone conversations (dependant on the host computer’s capabilities).
