Many people believe that they don`t need to quit smoking because they take the view that `it will never happen to me` and this is quite a delusional view to take because thousands of people are dying from the effects of smoking each day. But quitting is not easy and in order to quit, you need as much help as possible. Planning to quit, and preparing yourself, is the best way to quit smoking. I speak from experience because I quit smoking 8 months ago. My teenage son is the reason for me quitting. He had a science lesson at school one Friday and came home from school in floods of tears, because he thought I was going to die if I continued to smoke. Needless to say I couldn`t let him go through that so I quit that very same day and I haven`t looked back since. Hopefully this website will encourage others to quit smoking too.
