Greensboro Dance and Drama Therapy offers mental health therapy to individuals, families and groups. Here Angela Wiley specializes in working with victims of abuse, individuals struggling with eating disorders and substance abuse. Angela uses dance therapy and drama therapy in all of her work. Each session allows for the chance to move this gives individuals the chance to express feelings and emotions though their body and examine how trauma has effected their feelings, movements and posture. I believe that by using your body to access feelings and emotions healing takes place quicker and has a longer lasting effect. Angela works with young children (ages 2-6) that have experienced trauma and abuse.
