Dr. Farah Lakhani went to the University of Waterloo where she complete a Bachelor of Science degree (graduating with Honours), majoring in Biology. While on the path to Optometry, she travelled to Puerto Rico and Nicaragua to volunteer at a medical mission to provide medical assistance to the local population. Dr. Lakhani then went on to the New England College of Optometry where she obtained her Optometry degree. She gained experience with both glaucoma and diabetic patients at the Codman Health Centre which is located in Boston, MA. Dr. Lakhani has also spent time in pre/post-operative management of trauma and oculuar disease in White River Junction, VT. She has also provided Optometry services at an Ambulatory Care Centre for military personnel (located in Newport, RI) as well as vision evaluations/therapy sessions. She has a passion to teach and welcomes the laughter of children in her clinics.
